Industrial activity in the US grows more than expected in October, PMI shows

The growth of the US industry acce loan credit insurance lerated in October more than expected, showed on Friday (23) the report Purchasing Managers Index (PMI, its acronym in English) from Markit.

The Markit said its preliminary PMI for the manu loan credit insurance facturing sector stood at 54.0 in October, against final reading of 53.1 in September.

Economists polled by Reuters poll projected that the Markit manufacturing PMI fall to 52.8 in the preliminary reading this month. Above 50 indi loan credit insurance cates expansion in the sector result.
